Day 15 – What is your least favourite monster?
Cop out answer – I don’t have one. There are many monsters I won’t use in my campaign for the simple reason that they don’t fit into the environment the players are exploring. There are many monster that (to me at least) have no rational reason to exist (floating carnivorous eyeballs, gibbering mounds of rotting plant material, etc), but this is a realm where the Gods walk among us and magic is real. So who is to say that these creatures can’t exist.
Havcing said all of that, I think the Catoblepas has got the stupidest name ever.
