My son Sam and I have had fun painting some models that came with a book on dragons he received last Christmas. Sam chose the colours and I gave him some guidance on how to achieve certain effects (as well as neatening up some bits here and there). The four dragons came out pretty well actually and looked a lot better than the ones in the painting guides in the book.
Sam is nearly 8.
