The legions of Castle Brass assemble for their annual Christmas photograph.

In all their under-coated glory, the first batch of Kamarg troops are assembled ready for a lick of paint and a bit o’ basing action. These figures are from Eureka Miniatures and are officially licenced products from the History of the Runestaff books by Michael Moorcock. There are some hero figures too which I will post separately.

Very nice figures – cleanly scuplted and excellently cast. Very 1980s in their style (deliberately so I believe), so it feels quite ‘retro’ painting them. I might even do the old black lining technique on them, if I can remember how.

I’m thinking I might try and adapt an existing ruleset (e.g. The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit) to play with them.
