I have been quietly working on a diorama in recent weeks (my first), in between other, more important projects. But I’ve nearly finished and couldn’t wait to show you all.

It’s a Japanese-themed scene but using Eureka Miniature’s wonderful Warrior Frog range of figures. When I saw their Frog King model, a scene immediately sprang to mind – The Assassination of the Jolly Frog King (JFK for short). The finished model will hopefully feature in the Pond Wars rule book as a ‘showcase’ model, with some tutorials on how to achieve some of the model effects. The tree obviously needs to be finished, and there’s still a few plants to be modelled yet. But it’s getting close.
