Have been hard at work on the castle each night this week and it’s starting to take shape now. I have cut out the walls for the Great Hall and glued the buttresses in place on the front. Also, I have been repeatedly casting a section of random stone wall I made a while ago and using it as ‘cladding’ for a number of wall panels – much faster than manually scribing in the brickwork on these pieces. Although, I still need to do lots of manual stone work all over the model.
Here’s a couple of shots of the castle’s façade – note that the front panel of the Great Hall is just standing freely at the moment.
