Work is progressing at a pace now that panic has set in.
I have almost finished the farmyard, just need to do some windows and doors and finish off the thatching on the small shed. The dino lager is my project to complete over Easter, and by then I should also have a substantial amount of the cliff faces done too. After that, it’s a case of paving the castle courtyard, doing the roof and upper storeys, filling the river with water, and finishing off the various painting and flocking tasks.
Looks awesome mate just curious how you did the thatching?
The grass looks awesome as well
The thatching is made out of a coarse kind of string. I unwind it down to the individual fibres and cut it into lengths of 1 inch. I will write up a tutorial for how to do this and put it up as an aticle here – but be warned, it’s so time consuming that it will drive you insane.
And the grass is not finished yet. I started doing a multi-layered approach but then I ran out of my excellent Spring Grass mixture and had to get it specially made by a guy I know in the States – nice bloke, you’d like him – and I still haven’t paid him for it yet (he hasn’t told me how much it is).
Simply gorgeous Alan!!
